Comply

I looked back to the vans who now had people outside. All of them were watching me. I slowly unlocked my car and stepped out. He seemed pleased and held out a hand as I stepped out. I took it hesitantly. His hand clasped mine in a firm handshake. “Glad to see a good boy.”

I recoiled from the wording and tried to get out the handshake but his hand held firm. “Uh can you let go? I don’t exactly know what’s happening here and I am not comfortable with your-“

“No.” His hand tugged me forward into him and I fell hard into his chest. He finally let go of my hand but before I had a chance to run for it he had picked me up and slung me over his shoulder. “And to think you had a good start.”

Another guy came forward as he started to carry me to the van. “Don’t worry Jim your stay will be comfortable.” He pushed a cloth to my mouth, the smell making me gag. My head felt fuzzy as my eyes started to feel heavy.

I tried to hold my breath but it just made my brain worse. Blackness crept into the sides of my vision as the strong arms carried me into the van. As he laid me onto the surprisingly soft seats in the back I heard him mutter, “Hope to see him when he gets out.”

His buddy laughed and replied with something I didn’t catch. My head felt to heavy as I drifted into a dreamless sleep.
