Company retreat

Felicia mumbled angrily to herself as she packed her bags in her deluxe condominium. A company retreat? What an absurd waste of time and money! They were actually paying the travel expenses of the entire staff to go on a gloried vacation together! All to celebrate the recent acquisition of Telebrand, their largest competitor. Okay, they'd beaten the competition, so they were flying the mail guy out and paying his hotel fees? The very idea was ludicrous. Felicia had spoken against it, but the board was dismissive of her.

"Just enjoy yourself!" Marcus Riley, chairman of the board and said. "And don't think of trying to stay behind and work: we'll need you setting an example for the staff and leading team building activities!

Felicia was annoyed, borderline furious. But her mother and her had split her father's shares of the company, so she only owned 25 percent. The board owned fifty, and could outvote her. She hated not getting her way!

So Felicia was angrily preparing for this stupid, wasteful journey...
