Comfy Pyjamas

Perhaps the thing to do was try and convince herself this whole long weekend was just an excuse to kick back and relax as casually as possible. Almost as if Halley was planning to sleep through the next three days and not even think about anything too much more than that. A pyjama weekend with a twist. That couldn't be too bad really, could it?

So Halley decided to get dressed up for bed, shrugging her way into her softest pair of PJs, and ditching t-shirt, bra and socks along the way. No exercise this weekend, no going out. She had enough to deal with; so why not just lay on her bunk, watch movies and read until this whole affair was behind her? Anybody deserved a break every now and then, and Halley was beginning to suspect that recent events had left her in **** need of one. Maybe that was why this matter had spiraled in her mind from molehill to mountain.

Not that she could forget the diaper quite so easily as that. With nothing other than thin pyjamas over the top, the close padding felt almost like wearing a small pillow strapped between her legs. Normally, everything about a spacesuit was similarly bulky and restrictive, such that you didn't really notice that one particular aspect as different that anything else. Dressed like this, however, it was certainly a lot harder for Halley to distract herself. It was comfortable enough, of course, being perfectly soft and flexible; just having a pad that size constantly pressed against her as if sitting in a saddle seemed to constantly scream at Halley 'I'm here ready for when you need the toilet'. She'd prefer just to be able to forget about that for now, rather than be reminded with every movement and changing of position.

So, what was the best way to distract herself? Not a lot of options in a small room; read or watch a movie - Halley's imagination didn't seem to go much further than that right now. It was going to be a long weekend unless she could eventually do a little better than that.
