Matt curled her tighter against him. "Are you sure you don't want me to say anything? It could make him stop."

Lily shuddered in his arms. "I just don't know what dad will do if anyone finds out. If he can... if he can **** me, he could do anything. What if I tell, and he ends up killing mom? I couldn't live with myself."

He struggled again with the thought of telling her that mom already knew, but he didn't know how to phrase it where she didn't think he was insane. They lay there together as Matt tried to think of a way to get his twin sister out of the situation she found herself in.
