You shrug his hand off, scowling at him again. "You may know these women, but when was the last time you cared enough to help them?"

"They'll never change their ways," Bruce growled softly. "They all tried once to reform, but it was always somehow a fluke." You weren't backing down, however.

"I'll see for myself, then, if you won't help." You go through the door, and plummeted down the empty space, landing squarely on springs you conjured at your feet, jiggling as you slowed quickly to stop. Batman followed suit, thinking he'd take that same express route, crouching when he landed. You had quietly moved to the door and saw that Quinn and Ivy were in the middle of the platform, but... Pam was at the mercy of Harley's six-shooter. You both gasped and/or looked shocked.

"Shadow boy! 'Bout time you made it," she greeted. "Red an' I have been waitin' for ya."

"Help me," Ivy said, looking scared. Batman stepped forward.

"Quinn! Let her go!" Then she aimed her gun at him.

"Beat it, Bats. You're not the one I'm after. So take a hike. Don't make me hurt my bestie..." She sounded genuine as she aimed back at Ivy. Bruce backed down, and you stepped forward.

"Harley. This is how you wanted to prove yourself, by **** Pamela?"

"Look, hero. After you left, I told Mister Bozo that I was done working for him. I tried to move on, honestly. But somehow, I was missing something..." Pamela looked to you, smiling sadly which had Bruce glare at her. "So I actually visited Red as myself, Harleen Quinzel. They let me in! Ain't that nutty?"

"Quinn, just let her go." Under the subliminal influence, she released Ivy and Ivy leaned against a railing out of your way. "Now, what did you want with Poison Ivy?" And Harley grumbled something about her wanting to be called Pamela, or Pam. Then her demeanor bounced back to contentment.

"I told her that I felt liberated, more than I had been for a long, long time. 'Cause of you. She said you and she did the nasty, and she felt happier than she'd ever been in her life. I wanted in on that, so I said that I wanted to cause some trouble. To get you here." Then Harley scowled at Pam, making her nervous.

"But Ivy didn't go along with your plan, I'm guessing," said Batman.

"Hey, B-man. No one's askin' you. But yeah. For once, she was being a party pooper, saying you told her to be good. Fix her, make her her bad old self again."

"Harley, calm down and put your gun away. Let's talk." Harley put it away and stood there as you came to her. You talked some more, quietly. Meanwhile, Batman goes to Ivy to take her back to her cell.

"Let's go."

"I-I will, Batman. Just not yet," she replied. He never saw act like that since his episode, 'House and Garden.' But he wasn't going to fall for it.

"Now!" As he pulled her along, Pam looked back and forth between you and him. His demand got your attention.

"Batman, she's doing no wrong. Leave her be and I'll take care of her." He stopped and bat-glared at you, then looked at Pam. She seemed ****...
