Cleo gets ready for work

Cleo hurried through her shower and quickly toweled off, taking special care to dry off the stainless steel collar around her neck. She knew that it would not rust but still. It was best not to take chances.

"Hurry up, Cleo!" called Alma. "We'll be late for work."

"Yes, Mistress," she said with a nod.

Anyway, Alma patted her on the head when she was finally ready and attached a big black leather leash to the stainless steel collar that Cleo wore around her neck. Once she would have asked Cleo if she wanted to wear the leash; today Alma gave her ****.

Then Alma put on a heavy coat and Cleo noticed once more that she was gaining weight. She glanced away from Cleo and for a brief minute, she looked ashamed. Then she tugged at her leash and pulled her out the door.
