Clarify your relationship with her.

As fun as everything so far had been, it was really only set-up for Tom’s finishing move. Looking at Sarah, absolutely loving everything that had happened to her, he decided to bring this somewhere new. He reached into a pocket, fingering the magic coin. “Hey, Sarah.” The second Tom said her name, she was looking at him, tail wagging excitedly. “Do you trust me?”

She started nodding feverishly, her tongue out and even slobbering a little. “Yes! Yes! I trust you sooooooo much! You’re my husband, and you took me on a walk, and I love you!!” In all his years of marriage, Tom wasn’t sure she’d ever said those words to him with such exuberance.

He pulled out the coin, which immediately caught her eye. “This is a magic coin. I found it recently, and have been using it to change you. Including making you into a dog-woman.” He could see some shock in her eyes, but also something else.

“So that’s why I’ve been looking so hot lately? And why I woke up like this?” From the tone of her voice, he couldn’t be sure if Sarah was upset at all but his actions, or just asking.

Still, he decided to continue, trusting what he’d done so far as his foundation. “That’s right, Sarah. I could use this to turn you back to normal, and you’d never be a dog-woman again. I could even turn you all the way back to how you were before I found the coin. Or...” he said, adding a third option. “...I could use this to pave over any issues with you being my pet, and you could continue being my good girl, my dog. The only thing is, then you wouldn’t be my wife, would you? It’s up to you. What do you want?” Tom was loving seeing into her eyes, knowing some part of her wanted to be human, and some other part really did want to go all the way back to normal. But they were warring against the part of her that loved being a dog.
