Civil Unrest

Jeff and Kim hear a long howl and an enderwoman's screech coming from inside the home as they gather wood and harvest crops. They both turn instictively towards the home, than look at each other with amusement. Kim has a grin on her face, "Yeah, I think they're getting off in there. That or they're hurting each other." Jeff grins back but the grin is short lived. He turns towards the wilderness as hears another sound, one that he could hear and Kim couldn't yet, "Oh shit...." She looks at him confused, "What is it?"

It was the sound of dozens of zombies moaning and shuffling, a sound that was growing louder. Soon, Kim could hear it as well and drew her bow, "Dammit! They must have heard our new friends." Jeff didn't draw a weapon, and to Kim's surprise, he lowered her bow with his right hand, "No weapons. Let's use what nature decided to give us." Kim grins wildly as she pulls her right arm in front of her, red hair whipping around. Iron begins to coats the arm and she swings it to her side with the sound of air scraping metal, "You sure I can use this as a weapon?" She already knew the answer, "Definantly, as much as I can perform my new trick."

The zombies were in view now, all missing eyes and decaying flesh. As soon as they heard and smelled the pair outside, their pace increased. Jeff didn't move, instead inhaling a breath with the sound of air entering a pipe rapidly. He exhaled just as swiftly through a circle formed by his finger and thumb, a blue jet of flame racing forward. Zombies became ash as the fire hit home, melting and crisping those behind.

The pair backs towards the door of the house, Kim clubbing any zombies that got too close with her arm. The impacts mimiced a hammer and anvil, zombie flesh and bone reduced to pulp with each swing. Jeff knocks on the door twice, still facing the zombie horde, "You two better hurry up. We have company out here." He doesn't bother to aim his next power use, unleashing a wide cone of fire that turns the nearest zombies to fine dust. Kim clubs another nearby zombie in the head in an explosion of brain and skull, "Nice trick. How much of that can you do?"

Jeff coughs a ball of fire, punching holes in torsos and knocking zombies back, "As long as there's air, I can keep doing this." His concentration slips a little when he hears more howls and enderwoman screeches.
