Choices?

For several days you isolated yourself. The words of the Cerberus echoed in your head, constantly telling you to make your choice soon or everyone would regret it. You despised the very concept. Since the moment you woke up you lived your life as a benefactor to the people you met, becoming good friends with most of them. To suddenly become the opposite to everyone because of a choice you made, the idea stirred your insides. You remained isolated as you tried to figure out what choice you needed to make.

You feared that by the time you found out it would already be too late, another idea that infuriated you.

It wasn't until the sixth day of your isolation when the answer filled your head from a knocking at your door.

"Are you okay in there?" The voice of a concerned Athena melted through the door.

You stood and began to explain to her that you were okay.

She began asking you questions. Many of which flew past you until she asked. "What is wrong?"

You paused for a moment before opening the door. You rambled on about how stupid you feel, claiming that you couldn't even remember what was wrong in the first place.

Remember?

That was it! That's what was wrong!

You hugged Athena for a reason she didn't understand, only raising her concern.

"I suppose I was just bummed about my lack of memory." You told her.

"Is there any way we can help?" She let out a sigh.

The decision. Chase your past, or live this new life through?

The very reason you hated what Cerberus claimed would happen if you made it too late. The reason is the same reason why Cerberus' claim is accurate.

If you continued the way you are going now eventually you would make this decision down the line. That is true. Making the decision later would hurt both parties, whichever is involved in you chasing and whichever is involved with you staying. However, if you make your decision now either party can accept your decision.

After coming to this conclusion you went through the rest of the day like normal.
