Chill out

Thinking fast, you grab your pencil in one hand and lean down to give it back to her, as if she dropped it.

"Here you are," you say to her. And people just ignore you and go back to their affairs.

Casida looks at you with big eyes to say "thank you" as you helped her avoid embarassment.

From that point on, you all finish your group project until the bell rings. On the way out, Casida writes her phone number on a piece of paper and gives it to you.

"I stay after school today for Spanish Club. It meets around 20 minutes after school gets out in Ms. Pereira's room. You can always meet me when school gets out and we can have some fun for 20 minutes." Casida says all this, shifting her eyes from yours then to the floor as she is obviously putting herself out there.
