Chet almost laughs.
"Look...Miss Madeline...or what ever your name is stranger" He crosses his arms defensively "I ain't no fucking hero. Hell I will sell to whoever walks in here. I have been to Vegas twice, lost everything and know that I gotta hedge my bets. I am no fucking crusader."
Perturbed and feeling a bit hopeless Madeline considers her options. She could convince Chet the hard way. Or walk away and seek help elsewhere.
