Chess club

Marcie and Lindsey arrived at a small clubroom belonging to the chess club. There were only six members.

"What do you want with the chess club?" Lindsey asked.

"Its good to see some girls finally join this club" said their leader Alexis, "you know this used to be a girls club but... not enough girls wanted to join so we had to accept boys and now its a boys club"

Lindsey looked round to see there were four boys and two girls. She recognised one of the boys as Marcus Richards, a rival of Marcie's. The guy was always getting higher grades than Marcie and generally showing her up and it drove her up the wall.

The other girl was Emma.

She was the one Marcie really wanted.

"I have a proposition for you" said Marcie, "how would you like to join Blue Sublime?"

"I'm surprised they accept nerds like us" said Alexis.

"They do now"
