Chapter 2 by PhoenixFire PhoenixFire

Where does John go next...?

Chem Disposal Station #9

As John approached his workspace, he found a cyan blue container, unlabeled. This was an uncommon sight because of a corporation wide rule that states that all experimental chemicals were to be placed in a tightly sealed container and the name of the chemical labeled so that workers did not mistake these chemicals for working medicines. Being unnaturally curious, John decided to open the container, grabbing a small glass beaker the size of his palm and started pouring the liquid out. At first it appeared to be clear, but as the liquid was exposed to oxygen in the air, it turned a foggy white, a type of heat rose up from the beaker as the chemical touched the glass.

The glass started to grow hot in his hand and John could not find an immediate place to set it down. As the chemicals reacted with the open air and the cold touch of the glass beaker, its temperature rose, forcing John to drop the glass in surprise, watching the chemicals spill onto the ground and all over the front of his shirt and pants. He cursed to himself and quickly jumped up and away from the spill, hoping that the chemical would have no direct affect on him. yet the chemical seemed to be slightly acidic as the liquid seemed to burn a hole in his pants and shirt, quickly soaking into his skin.

"Shit, shit, shit!!" John yelped as the hot chemical soaked into his skin and cooled over. He thought that he'd just alerted his nearby chemical workers of his predicament with his yelp, yet as he noticed no reaction from them, they must have assumed he just hurt his arm, as he had done in the days before. And as the chemical finished soaking through his skin, his body temperature rose. feeling a pleasurable heat run along his entire system. He knew something was wrong, but right now...

...It felt way too good to report.
