Perhaps this is some kind of girls-only boarding school. You can only smell girls and women -- no men or boys.

As you scan the building where you saw the silhouette, you think it might be a dormitory, since you detect a number of girls in the rooms.

From your vantage point, you decide to investigate that building as having the most likely sources of blood that you crave. And perhaps you can get something more than blood.

You turn into a bat again and fly toward the building. You feel exhilarated by flying; it's one of the coolest feelings you've ever had outside of sex.
