Check her computer

Marie slowly opened her eyes and drained the water. She stepped out of the bathroom after drying her body and hair. She walked to her office and sat in the soft chair. The computer screen showed her a short list of emails. She skipped over the one that repeated the newspaper. The next ones told her that her business was growing was gaining money. She closed her email and returned to her fallen robe. Now that her daily tasks were done, she figured a walk would be in order. Marie pulled the robe over her shoulders and put on her regular crew socks and tennis shoes.

This time, she left the key under the flower pot. It was only there half the time she needed it. She exited the house, still not bothering to tie the robe shut again. The neighborhood she lived in was a rather friendly one. The residents didn’t mind if you walked outside in your pajamas everyday or if you had a party every night. These people rarely cared, so much as you weren’t rude about it. It was strange, but not hated, to have some nudity. Usually the most they were comfortable with was underwear. However, they knew about Marie’s schedule and made an exception in her case. Although, she wasn’t comfortable with people seeing her, she used it to her advantage, such as never having to dress unless guests or going somewhere.

She resumed her walk and let her robe fly like a cape in the wind. The next door neighbors’ 19 year old daughter looked at the bare woman underneath the robe. It wasn’t anything too new to her. She continued to throw a baseball in the air. Marie stopped and knelt down to a gray cat. It strutted up to her and she picked it up. Its claws clung to her back. She walked to the spot where it normally is and bent down to let it go. It didn’t let go. She tugged and again and then yanked as hard as she could without it getting hurt. It takes the robe with it. And in the process of getting the cat off her, she managed to propel herself off the sidewalk and down a hill.

Marie felt he dirt and the grass brush up against her boobs. Suddenly there was a drop. She seemed to have landed on some excess roots. She tried to stand up and find the cat, but once she got up the roots broke and she hung upside down. She looked up from her perspective. There was only about two feet between her head and the ground. She looked the real up. Her shoes are lodged in the remaining roots. She reaches to pull herself up. Marie tried to dislodge her feet. She manages!

As Marie tumbles down the hill further, she realizes how naked she is. She halts and sits for a solid minute, thinking. She stands and looks for means of escape.
