Check Out The Shelter

You decide that there is a very slim chance of anything still living there, as it looks to be years old. You still however apporach slowly, just in case, as you get closer and closer to the small shelter you snap a twig under your foot. Your heartbeat skyrockets, you swallow nervously, waiting for something to rush you, but nothing does. You glance around, strain your ears for sounds of something coming toward you, but still nothing, it would seem the shelter is truely abandoned. You walk forward at your normal pace, once you reach the shelter, you wrestle the vines from the entrance, half expecting a skeleton to lie in wait.

However this old home, is empty, no items or any trace of someone being there is left, or so you think until you catch a glimpse of white on the rock walls. Its fadded but one part has a map drawn on it, the coast, a star for the shelter, off to one side is a picture of a vilage, with a face with pointy ears drawn over. Theres words over the vilage, all but faded, "li lag" is all that you can make out. Below the vilage image is a waterfall, the cliff you woke up on is marked, with another vilage, this one marked with some four legged animal? The words above it are completely gone, then theres two last places on the map, A giant tree? It has been circled repeatedly marking how imporant it is, the last image is barely visable but it looks like a castle, theres a dotted line connecting it and the tree, above the castle the world home is scratched.

Your heart picks up pace, as your brain screams home, theres a way home from this island. You cant help but smile, you have a path now, a way to go forward, filled with purpose and hope you cant wait to get started. You give a few more glances at the other writings, ones obviously a count of days on the island, the marks must be at least 80, then more writing catches your eyes. It appears to be a journal on the wall, most fadded but what you can read is mostly depressing. A lot of talk of alone, fear and ****, till the mention of the vilage, the tree and...The Guardian?
