Charmander

(For those of you who wanted another starter, I will borrow from the pokemon yellow gameplay and give you Bulbasaur and Squirtle later on.)

"Heh, I don't need to be greedy like you. Go ahead and choose one first Red."

You look at Blue thinking he must be up to something. You can't figure out what though.

You pick Charmander, the Fire-Type Pokemon. Who wouldn't? A fire breathing lizard! Come on.

Blue chooses Squirtle. Now you see his angle. He just wanted to take the pokemon that had a type advantage over yours.

"Wait, Red!" He calls out, " lets check out our pokemon. Come on, I'll take you on!"

(I'd advise you look at the battle mechanics first, some certain moves cough growl cough may be a little more effective than in the game.)
