Charles Xavier

I was stopped dead by the resounding yet familiar voice of Charles Xavier inside my head.

"I appologize for the intrusion, Tom but there isn't a moment to waste. Don't ask questions for the moment. There will be a taxi arriving, number 7534. Get in it. I'll explain everything to you when you arrive."

I was.... well, bowled over might not be a strong enough phrase to use! Not more than ten minutes on my own in New York and I was feeling like some secret government agent! Just as he said it would, though, Taxi 7534 pulled up right in front of me. I couldn't quite see anything about the driver yet but... I was seriously weighing my available options!
