Charge in

You look between the four thugs and inspect their fighting. They look muscular, but they also look tired and ****. They seem like they’re an easy enough match.

Jumping through the brush, you immediately knock the first one to the ground. The others seem surprised by your surprise attack, and it gives you enough time to knock out the second thug with a kick to the head. Now, the other two thugs charge you, but with your knowledge of hand to hand combat, you easily dispatch of both of them.

“You all right?” you ask the man who was jumped?

He smiles at you.

“Thanks. I could’ve taken them, though it might’ve caused trouble with the officials.”

“How so?” you ask.

“You’re new here, aren’t you?”

You nod.

“Well, my name is Seth Stone. My village is nearby, but you probably won’t like it. The Fire Nation took over months ago and we’ve been put under strict law. They won’t allow fighting of any sort, and if they catch you even trying to earth bend, they’ll execute you immediately!”

“Sounds bad.” You say. “And by the way, my name’s Saphra Lyn.”

“Nice to meet you.” Seth says. “Come on, I’ll help you find a place to stay for the night.”

You smile and follow Seth.
