Charge and fire!

"I'll charge my buster and blow it away in one shot!" Buster Girl announced, beginning to pump plasma power into her Girl Buster with a steady wop-wop-wopwopwop noise. Secretly, she loved that noise it made... and she loved the feeling of power pooling up, raising the battery, just as much. She had both the good doctor and her evil creator to thank for this sensation!

The doctor didn't look so pleased by the decision, but he held his tongue.

"100%! Firing!" Buster Girl cheered, then released a huge shot of plasma towards her opponent. The shot failed, predictably, as the Metall closed its helmet, given the generous charge-up period that its opponent had provided it. The huge shot plinked off his helmet, then soared towards the ceiling, causing the whole place to shudder. "Oh no! Doctor Wily really reinforced those helmets, huh?! O-Or my buster's weak? Is my buster actually a weak weapon?!"

"Ahem, well... There's a lesson in strategy here. That's what's valuable," Doctor Light coughed into one fist. "I assure you, the buster is game for the task of defeating every opponent, though you won't be able to penetrate a Metall's helmet so easily. Try to time your attacks appropriately to defeat opponents. A charge shot is best used when your enemy is **** or recharging."
