Physical Appearance: Similar to a normal Galyvrian, but his head is narrower, he has two short pairs of horns and his scales are turquoise with black spots.

When not wearing his armour, he prefers either a long sleeved T-shirt and jeans for wearing out and about, or a loincloth and jewellery for general wear/unarmoured duels.

Character Background: Created (+1 Psionic), Private Sector (+1 Tech).

History: Linssith Cynand was born out of a union between a Camarian diplomat and the Galvyran chief she was supposed to be talking to about the benefits of bringing the Galvyran race into the Alliance. She didn’t accomplish that part of her mission, but she did accomplish a side mission – she got the genetic material her race wanted to search for ways to repair the damage done to them by the Kryslin.

Thanks to a treatment from her ship’s medbay prior to descending to the planet, she became pregnant. While the child took after his father in terms of appearance, he was raised on Camar, where he displayed a knack for mixing both sides of his heritage – the psionics of the Camarians and the close-in fighting of the Galyvrans.

He took jobs with a series of corporations as a high-powered fighter, also learning some technological tricks he had missed on Camar along the way, before eventually winding up on Horizon, in the club life of the hybrids.

CL1 Personal Computer - The CL1 Personal Computer is a computer placed around the wrist. Cheap, but effective, it allows to bring up standard information on the galactic net, known information about history, and even ship designs. Tech upgrades are available.

Upgrades:

Mind **** 2 – Free (Racial) – Rather than using a weapon attack, you make a mind attack against the target. On a success, the target takes damage, and are rattled for one round. More powerful than Mind **** 1. Target takes 15 damage and can target multiple hostiles that the psionic is aware of in the area. If the psionic attacks more than one enemy, they suffer -2 damage for each additional target.

Deadened Nerves - Free (Rank 1) - Augmentation lowers the receptors of pain receptors in the brain, decreasing damage taken by 2.

Psychic Shield – Free (Rank 1) – You place a barrier around you, absorbing 10 damage before it dissipates. This can absorb any type of damage, including particle weaponry.

Hyper Regeneration – 2000 Credits – The recipient's healing properties are vastly increased. Inside of battle, the target regenerates 1 HP every round unless flatlined.

Coiled Muscle Augmentation – 2000 Credits – Replaces the muscle tissue in your body with carbonite coils, wires, and framework. This dramatically increases run speed and jump potential. This allows you to run double your normal run speed, cumulative to any other bonuses the character has normally. In addition increases strength value and melee and thrown weapon damage. Melee and thrown weapon attacks deal an additional 1d8 damage.

Class:

-Psionic Blade Mastery-You gain use of all melee weapons, but must pick one to favor. While wielding this weapon, you gain +5 to damage with melee attacks and Defenses. You are psionically linked to this weapon, and it becomes as part of you as your own hand is. Should this weapon be destroyed, you take damage equal to your Psionic score, and it requires one week of focusing on a new weapon to gain the Psionic Blade Mastery benefits. Favouring Two-Handed Sword.

-Light Armor-Psionic Slayers may wield light armor.

-Psionic Focus-You may substitute your Psionic score for Accuracy.

-Precognition-You sense the future, gaining 10% of your Psionic stat to Defense and Mental Resistance (rounded up).

-Weapon Teleportation- You may throw your weapon as an attack, dealing weapon damage to the target location within Long Range. You may choose to teleport to the location, or teleport the weapon back to your hand. If done with an unarmed strike, you instead send a shockwave of ****, which can be your current strongest telekinetic attack, or standard unarmed damage.

Racial:

-Scaled hide gives Galvyran Resistance 5 to Heat (negating up to 5 heat damage per attack), and has Damage Resistance 6, making them semi immune to small arms fire.

-Galvyran have the upgrade Enhanced Smell, also getting Enhanced Taste

-Using an action to lick the air allows them to gauge how many life forms, and what they are through scent.

-Storage nodes within their body allows them to go two weeks without food or water.

-Bite attacks deal unarmed 1d6 damage, with a crit range of 19-20. It also grabs.

-Galvyran cannot be blinded due to an eye membrane to keep out sand.

-Hybrids are “Hunted”; due to rarity, coming from rich families, and could be used for a variety of things. Ransom, research, and slavery are very dark but real fates for adventurous Hybrids.

Picks:

-Thrill of the Kill- Killing or disabling an enemy grants you an extra action (once per round).

-Iajutsu- At the start of the fight, unless ambushed, you may move your speed, and trigger no opportunity attacks. At the end of the movement, you are considered to have your weapons drawn.
