Chapter 4- Yes Indeed!

Two weeks passed and Samus told Petra her plan, helping it put it into motion. Two days later Petra burst into the classroom, clothes tattered and all bloody, gasping. She appeared to be in a daze and could only mention that she and Bernadetta were ambushed and captured. She managed to escape and came for help, but it took her a while to get here. She gasped out directions to where they were held captive and collapsed. You ordered Annette to take her to the infirmary and the rest of you prepared to save her!

You marched for 3 days before arriving, leaving Petra and Annette behind. When you arrived you found a group of bandits (paid by you) posing as members of Those Who Slither in the Dark. You and your class got the drop on them and started to slay them. During the fighting, Petra, who was sneaking behind your forces after knocking out Annette, killed Casper and Ashe on your orders, thinning out some of the male students for you. Edelgard and Dimitri eventually fought to Bernadetta’s cell and freed her, but were dismayed at what they found. Bernadetta was chained up to the wall, walking like a dog, wearing a collar that said Bitch on it, and only responded in barks or growls. They were baffled but any attempts to stand her up, put clothes on her, or take off her collar were met with bites and scratches. After discussion, it was decided that you would keep her in your tent each night and that we’d treat her like a dog for now, hoping that someone in the monastery could undo whatever spell was cast on her.

You and your students marched back, saddened by the events of the fight. Upon returning to the monastery you met Petra at the gates, and Bernadetta ran up to her and nuzzled her, treating her like she was her master. Confused, your students departed and you took her to Rhea. After delving and various magical remedies, it was determined that there was nothing they could do about Bernadetta. She was now a dog, and believed Petra was her owner. She also only responded to the name Bitch. Petra was given leave to keep her as a pet and they could be seen frequently walking around campus, Petra treating her with care.

This phase was complete- now for Annette!
