Chapter 12: Not Gonna Die

"Nox!" Bzzzzshszz! Sith lightning shot out toward her. Imperius was hit in the chest from the attack and was sent flying across the room hitting her back and head against the glass wall. Cracking it slightly and she was out cold.

"You must be Maya? Imperius sister?" Nox asked. Maya nodded. "Do you want to know what happened to Maya from my universe?"

"What?"

"I killed her," Nox sneered. Bzzzzshszz! "She was weak just like the both of you!" Maya activated her crimson blade blocking the lightning and Nox responded by activating her lightsaber rushing forward and engaging Maya in a ferocious lightsaber duel. Their blades swinging, connecting, parry followed by parry, followed by thrust, and dodging and stepping to the side. They were both deadly. Finally, Maya stepped back. "I am afraid the future is not on your side I have foreseen my hand will activate the weapon."

"Will it?" Nox asked, "Do you really see that far I can't see that far into the future while I am here. Everything is crazy and hazy." They continued Nox finally landed a cut on Maya's shoulder she let out a cry of pain stepping back and taking a defensive stance and Nox charged forward their lightsabers meeting again. Nox swung above her head bringing it down Maya jumped back dodging the attack. Nox was running toward her again she had to back away to create distance but Nox was right behind her. Their lightsabers locked together. "I sense fear in you, Maya." Nox laughed at her and then headbutted her, Maya stumbled back. VRROOM! "AH!" Maya screamed in pain. Nox had chopped off her right hand. "AH!" She continued to scream in pain falling back. "Yes, your hand will activate the pedestal, sure it will!" Nox then grabbed her hand off the floor. "This is the future. Soon the universe you are originally from will be like this one. Empty and nothing."

Imperius coughed, then slowly got up, "What happened to you? That made you like this?"

"Me?" Nox pondered as she made her way over to the pedestal. "It didn't happen in one night. When I was 14 I lost my grandfather. That destroyed me and ate me up. Then I lost a person, whom I looked up to, a Sith Lord in the past who taught me many things. Then my father and mother abused me physically and verbally. I think they just wanted to take anger and stress out on someone or something ever since our families' riches began to dwindle when the Sith Empire began to raise its taxes, and my Maya from my universe was loved and cared for. Their holy child. Call me a jealous person but also one who wants justice, and so I killed all of them. Not just with my saber but also with words to make it more excruciating. Their words cut deep. Deeper than any saber ever could. I realized something then. **** and life are in the power of the tongue. So I used my words and then my saber to make them feel just a little bit of the pain I felt. Then at the age of 16, I got my **** and found the killer who killed the Sith Lord. That's just some of the stuff and trash I have been through. It didn't happen over one night there were other moments and other things that set my journey and my universe apart from you Imperius. Seeing you trying to be good makes me sick."

"But shouldn't we as humans or just as people love others and respect one another?" Imperius questioned. "I feel like that should be common sense."

Nox shook her head venom in her voice. "LOVE IS A POSION! LOVE IS A WEAKNESS! Darkness is in everyone. So you say common sense? Yes and no but there are things that will pull people away from that common sense if they feed their demons and I. . .have fed mine for years!" She declared, "Time is nothing, peace is an everlasting lie. . .the truth is a thing that can be twisted, hope is hopeless, valor is a void, justice is the road to destruction, compassion is pitiful, and love is tiresome. Righteousness is a cancer, glory will only lead to pride, and wisdom is a weapon of power. Last but not least...fate is like...destiny just...darker."Imperius stood up, "That's a bleak view of life."

"I think you mean bleak view on everything. Enough talk though. It's time to finish this." Then Nox summoned the **** within her and the station began to teleport back to Maya and Imperius' universe.

Imperius stood up slowly reaching for her saber. "But there has to be a part of you! That knows that what you are about to do is wrong!"

"Wrong? Right and wrong? That applies to people who have a mindset and belief in right and wrong. I believe I am right and never in the wrong and if I feel like I am in the wrong at all then I tell that small voice to shut it or I blame it on something else!"

"You're insane!"

"Funny, insanity then can be quite fun! Haha!" Nox laughed at her. Imperius activated her crimson blade. Maya was now back on her feet grabbing her saber off the ground with one hand.

"Do either of you ladies think you are fast enough to get to me before I exterminate this entire universe of life?" Imperius and Maya shared a look and nodded. Nox laughed some more. "Didn't think so!"

Maya threw her lightsaber and then jumped to the side Nox swung hitting Maya's lightsaber away Imperius circled around. Maya was now on the ground near Nox who then snarled at her and raised her blade but Maya then recalled the ****. She extended an arm and ****-pulled Imperius to her. Nox kicked Maya in the gut sending her sliding across the glass floor and she spun around catching Imperius' blade with her own. Their lightsabers locked and both tried to move against the other to find an opening. Nox dropped Maya's chopped-off hand and used her now free hand to grab Imperius by the throat. UGH! Imperius let out a cry. "That attack almost caught me! If I had been slower I would've been cut in half. But you both are the slow ones!"

Maya was now on her feet "No one kills my sister but me!" She then ****-threw Nox away from Imperius against one of the hard-glass walls, Nox hit it with a hard thud. Her saber rolled away. Nox tried to get up but Maya did it again throwing Nox's head back against the glass wall her helmet cracking! Maya sneered then suddenly she was hit in the gut by **** and she hit the back of her head against another section of the wall.

Nox stood up. Imperius was still recovering from her throat being almost crushed. Nox took off her helmet she looked exactly like Imperius as if they were clones. Imperius then stumbled forward swinging her blade at Nox but she sidestepped the blow and grabbed Imperius' arm holding her saber then with her other hand she brought her fist down on Imperius' hand. Bone breaking was heard and Imperius let out a cry of pain having her wrist broken she dropped her lightsaber. Nox then socked her in the face not once but twice! Imperius fell back wounded and hurt.

"You can't stop me Imperius! You can't stop anything here from happening. I am fate! I am darkness manifest! I am supposed to happen!" Nox declared.

Maya was back on her feet. "Leave my sister alone!"

"I am your sister." Nox laughed. Maya raised her left hand and was about to ****-push Nox. Suddenly VVRROOM! Nox had lifted her crimson blade off the ground and turned it on the red saber came out from Maya's chest. Nox dismissed it and the blade deactivated and Maya fell to the floor with a thud.

Nox laughed. "I always win."

She picked up Maya's severed hand and reached for the pedestal with it. "The future is bright, for me, you will suffer. Both of you will." She motioned at them. Pathetic! She thought. The version of her from this universe and her sister from this universe are both weak. They both fought against me and they lost. I am powerful.
