Celebratory Dinner

You get home after the big game, your mother is in the living room on her phone.

"I'm back!" You say enthusiastically as you walk further into your house. Your mother quickly turns to you.

"Hurry up and take a shower!"

"What?"

"Rita said that Lynn wanted to invite you over to celebrate the win! I don't know if that meant her husband or one of her daughters, but either way you are going over there and eating there food!"

"Alright."

You head to the shower upstairs. As you are washing yourself you think about the situation. You hope that it was Lynn who wanted you over and not Mr. Loud. After a short time you finish up in the shower; you turn off the water, and as you are putting on your towel you could hear a hurried shuffle from outside the bathroom.

"Probably nothing." You think to yourself.

You get dressed in the usual and tidy up your hair before heading nextdoor. Knocking on the door you think of which wonderful lady is going to greet you, to your surprise and disappointment it was Lincoln.

"Hey John, come on in." He says cheerfully as he gestures you inside.

You walk inside the house and see the that the table is set and everyone is there. You notice that Lynn seems almost uncomfortable with you being there.

The dinner consisted of good food and football filled conversations with Lincoln, Lynn, and Mr. Loud. Just about when everyone was finishing up Lori taps the table three times with her fork and stands up. Luna stood up at almost the same time and they both grabbed Lynn and carried her up the stairs, the rest of their sisters followed.

"So... You thinking about desert?" Mr. Loud asks awkwardly, and enthusiastically.

"Not really, I'm stuffed." Lincoln responds, patting his stomach. "What about you, John?"

"I'm good... I do need to know where the bathroom is though."
