Chapter 76 by Indirect

A harmonious change?

Cautiously test her out

After Harmony broke down in tears you and Sandra came up with an arrangement that would suit all of you. You're not willing to change her into a catgirl right away - instead she will stay down here and carry out any work that Sandra and Patrick give to her. Sandra is going to spend a week or so coaching her so that when she makes her appearance in the mansion she can properly fake the loss of her memories.

You also provide her with a scrying portal in her room that's open most of the time and is always focused on Helena. It's a decent draw on your magic, but you know that giving her proof that Helena is as happy as you say, letting her see Helena interact with you, with newly arrived catgirls and with kittens - that is what will truly convince Harmony to become part of your conspiracy. Sandra is just about praying that it works out. She's become quite used to Lady Emira being around to offer a helping hand and another mind to bounce ideas off of.

Harmony's behavior when you transform both the servant girl, named Amily, and the dancer, named Sendrey, is telling. Both arrived with her, so if she was going to have a negative reaction that surely would have been the time. Instead she gives both of them hugs, and even asks how they feel about their upcoming transformations.

Amily doesn't seem to care at all and Harmony admits to you and Sandra that Amily was always particularly proud of her looks. Harmony doesn't know how Amily's injury happens but she blames the Earl. With the transformation her blonde locks lighten and spread, leaving her with soft, cream colored fur. Her body thins down, making what was a reasonably attractive girl into a real beauty with a slender figure. Her breasts stay the same, but on her smaller frame her A cups are quite noticeable. Then you repair her jaw and cheekbone and the orbital of her eye. You even have to make some repairs inside her ear and sinuses, so it's quite something this girl is still alive with the kind of impact that she must have taken. When her eyes blink open they are bright blue and they stare out of a round, doll-like face.

Harmony follows Sandra's example and runs her fingers through Amily's soft fur and the new catgirl purrs, eager for more attention. When you check Amily over you discover that her body's chemistry is a little unusual. More estrogen than in most girls her age, along with a few other imbalances. None of that is dangerous, but it is unexplained. It also means that her sense of smell, taste and touch are more sensitive than usual. For a human, that would be all, but as a catgirl the balance is off by enough that she's likely to have more babies per litter than average. It's much like what you did for Sandra, but it's kind of wild to see that happen naturally.

You and Sandra take her upstairs and leave her in the care of your other wives, as usual. By the time you return Harmony is keen to see more.

Sendrey's reaction to being asked about her transformation is more interesting. At first she's not sure what you mean. Then she's aghast. Then she sees Sandra and becomes more and more comfortable with the idea as Sandra demonstrates her own flexibility. With the truth spell you learn that Sendrey feels her skill in dance and acrobatics have been suffering with each passing year and at this point she's not sure she can continue dancing. But she's a **** and she has no other skills, so as far as she's concerned her life is already just about over. All it will take is one master who decides she's no longer fit to dance and she'll be sold off as an even lower grade of ****. The chance to keep dancing with the renewed vigor and flexibility of a catgirl body is appealing enough that she starts asking a question for every one that she answers.

Generally you and Sandra don't bother explaining the process to the women before they are transformed, but Harmony is new to this and she's eager. Given the reaction from Sendrey maybe you and Sandra should have been talking to more catgirls-to-be, because Harmony makes some real progress. That, or she lucked out by finding another woman as interested in becoming a catgirl as she is.

Surprised, but not displeased, by this turn of events you're just starting to move Sendrey to another one of the rooms when Patrick comes in, fresh from feeding some of the captives. He strolls over to stand next to Harmony and gets an introduction. Sendrey seems quite fascinated with Patrick, especially when he shows off his ability to touch his foot to the back of his head.

"Wow, it would be great if they hit it off," whisper's Sandra. "Little redheaded dancer falls for big, lithe catboy. Babies to come!"

That annoying feeling like someone is blowing a gust of wind through the magic in the area happens again. You'd check on it, you really would, but right now you're too busy giving Sandra some ear scratches.

Harmony seems to notice what's happening with Patrick and Sendrey and she quietly backs away. Neither of them seem to notice. When she gets back to you she grins, looking back at the tableau in front of you. Sendrey is leaning against the side of the cage, giving Patrick some big doe eyes. Patrick has perched on the edge of the couch, happily chatting away to her.

"I can't believe that's working out," you say to yourself.

Sandra laughs and calls out, "Hey, it's not like she has to stay in the cage."

Patrick looks a little stunned, maybe a little sheepish when he looks back and realized he's had an audience all this time. But Patrick is Patrick and he takes it in stride, letting her out and sitting her on the couch. Sendrey definitely has the hots for him, and audience or not she's soon holding his hand and running fingers through his hair and across his furry chest. He laughs when she rubs his ears and checks out his tail.

Finally she bites her lips and says, "Please don't take this the wrong way, but growing up I was a lonely girl and the cats I fed were some of the best friends I had. Ummm, I know you're not like them. I won't be like them if I get transformed, but I think that's part of why I like you." Her ears go crimson and she tries to explain even more. "I mean, I like you for more than that, I, um..."

Patrick pulls her in, wraps his arms around her and says, "Yeah, I get it. Don't worry. I like you for a lot more than that hot red hair of yours, but it doesn't hurt that it looks really good on you."

"A lot of people don't like redheads," she mumbles, still trying to recover from her earlier embarrassment.

"Yeah," Patrick says, "a lot of people are stupid. You're fun and gorgeous. I'd love to see you dance with all the grace a catgirl body can muster." Then he looks over to you and says, "We were looking for ways to train the catgirls in all sorts of things. Wouldn't hurt to have a catgirl like Sendrey on our side. She could 'find a book on dance' and really get into trying to duplicate what she sees in it. Great way to keep 'em in shape."

"That could work," you say.

Patrick looks deep into her eyes and asks, "Sendrey, how would you feel about training dozens of the most flexible dancers you've ever seen? Oh, also, what are you doing for dinner tonight?"

You swear Sendrey rubs her thighs together. Sandra whispers, "Damn, she fell for him hard."

Harmony quietly adds, "He's fallen for her just as hard."

"Yeah," Sandra says, "no one else has put that goofy look on his face except his cousin and the twin barmaids."

"Huh, what?" asks Harmony.

"Oh, it's quite the story. They might not be married yet, but John isn't the only guy who's going to have multiple wives..."

How does the new help work out?
