What did he find?
Catwoman’s getaway vehicle
Behind a large rubbish container in the middle of the alley stood a large object hidden under a waterproof cover. Matt instantly knew what he was looking at and removing the cover did indeed reveal a modern motorcycle. Designed completely in black with few silvery details, it would be well hidden for a getaway during the night. It was also small enough to swiftly weave through the traffic away from any pursuers. His deduction had been correct, this was Catwoman’s escape plan.
Matt reversed his van into the alley and stopped close to her bike. After a quick check for hidden tools and weapons, he began loading it as an extra prize. With the help of a wooden plank left from the homeless man’s shelter it was easily pushed up into the storage compartment. He fastened it to the wall making sure it wouldn’t stop him from accessing the trap door in the middle.
Now, sure that his next **** to be was on the way, he lay in wait while across the street the big gala began.
Night had fallen and Matt was sitting in the open door of his van, checking the cameras in his home. Nothing special could be observed. Wonder Woman was on relaxing on the bed while watching some show on the tablet he had left. Batgirl was humping the table, trying to get over the edge caused by her vibrating gift. And Gwen was seemingly fast asleep with a slight trickle of drool running from her once more ringgagged mouth.
He flipped through some more of the available cameras not really looking for anything in particular. Then he finally heard what he wanted, a chorus of scared screams from across the streets. The light in the upper floors had gone dark and in their stead, the excited flickering of flashlights could be observed as the guards tried to find the problem. This was his sign to move into position behind the garbage containers that had once concealed the bike and wait in ambush.
One minute later he heard a swishing sound followed by a loud metallic clicking. He was sure that she had just installed the anker point for her rope slide. And just as expected, he witnessed a black figure practically flying towards him from the museum’s rooftop. Landing slightly past the entrance of the alley, she made her way towards Matt’s position. Starting at a distance of roughly 100 meters, he had a hard time making out her position by hearing alone. Even on her heels, she really moved as silent as a cat. He managed to make out her position right on time.
Clearing the garbage containers, Catwoman was hit by a punch to the stomach before she could react to the figure on her right. With an angry hiss, the feline thief jumped backwards to gain time and assess the situation. Falling in a fighting stance just in time to block the follow-up attack, she thought she could turn this engagement around. However, as she still had the rolled-up painting hanging around her shoulder and she could neither risk damaging nor losing it. So, her best move was to jump on her bike and leave the attacker in the dirt.
While she was standing in front of him, Matt could look her over for a short moment. She was wearing her full leather costume, boots with 3 or 4’ of heel and the zipper on her suit was pulled down to show a generous amount of cleavage. Her eyes were hidden behind her orange tainted goggles, but he could see her glaring at him angrily.
Before he could take a further look at her, she lunged at him and he was **** to fall into a defensive position. Catwoman however, had feigned the attack and ran past him deeper into the alley. Since she was obviously trying to reach her hidden bike, Matt followed her in a controlled manner and took a position that would block her way out, forcing her to fight him locked between the containers and his van.
Once she realized that flight wasn’t an option, an infuriated Catwoman extended the metal claws on her reinforced gloves and laid the painting down in a secure spot by the wall. Then she turned towards her assailant. He was on her in seconds, not giving her the time to rip him open with her kitty claws. She was pushed against the wall as he punched her side right below her ribcage. She released a very much human scream and tried bringing her fingers to his face. But Matt ducked and headbutted her right into her left boob, once more pushing her back into the wall and stalling her breath.
By now Catwoman had realized just how out of position she was. In the enclosed area between the car and the walls she had no possibility to use her speed and catlike movements. Normally, she would be rolling around on the ground, dodging hits and kicks alike while striking at opportune moments, but now she was trapped and had to take heavy hits. She wondered how long he had planned this and decided that the painting was not worth being heavily injured.
“Ok, you got me” she hissed angrily under her breath. “Take the painting and leave me alone” she bargained.
Her opponent just laughed in her face. “I don’t care about that painting. It’s nice, but I’m here collect something much rarer!”
With a hint of fear Catwoman inquired: “What would that be?”
“You!” It was the last thing she heard before Matt extended his hidden blackjack and hit her across the temple. Her world went black as she dropped to the floor”
Happy about yet another capture, Matt quickly started binding Catwoman.
