Cassie's room

Chris smiled, “Okay then it is decided that we will put it to a vote. So what does everyone vote?”

This toke some time but in the end Beth voted that Mia stay with Cassie, Cassie voted that she stayed withJohn , Kate voted for the basement apartment because the space was really unused and it would be more privet for Mia, Chris voted for the basement apartment, Mia voted that she stays with Cassie, while John voted that she shares a room with himself thinking that she would feel better staying with someone she knew over staying with someone else. So in the end it was up to Mia who kept her vote the same, which meant that she was going to be staying with Cassie.

Kate stood up at this point and said, “Ok now that it is decided lets let them get the room all set up while I make some lunch, Mia, Cassie, I will bring the food up when it is ready. The rest of you, would you mind helping Mia and Cassie move her stuff upstairs.” She said the last sentence more as a statement of fact rather then asking.

In quick order all of Mia’s things are in the room just waiting to be unpacked, the others left the room leaving Mia and Cassie alone in there to get the room set up for the two of them. Cassie quickly made some closet space and space in a drawer for underwear and socks. While she was doing this Mia set up some of her stuff in the room like her stuff animals, her posters, and some pictures frames she brought from her house. When Cassie was done making space for her clothes Mia and her switch tasks, he toke stuff out of boxes and she put her clothes away.

By the time the clothes where put away lunch was ready and the two sat in the room eating their first meal together as sisters(kind of). Mia was the first one to talk, “Not much left to unpack now, my mother gave me a few things that I think should stay in the boxes for now so I will put them away in the closet for now. After that I think we are done, unless you can think of anything we have forgotten to do.” She said with a soft and contented smile on her face.

Cassie laughed softly, “Yeah, I want to know what you think about John, you know things like that? I want to know everything I can about him. And I know that you are the only one that would have most if not all of his secrets.”

Just then John knocked on the door and entered, “How’s it going you two? I can see you are almost all set up. If you would like I will take the dishes downstairs for you both so you can finish up.” He takes the dishes and heads downstairs not even knowing what is going on in that room right now.

Cassie looked at Mia and said, “Well what do you say? Are you going to tell me?” Her voice was soft and sweet but Mia could tell that Cassie really wanted the answers to her questions. So the questions stands, is Mia going to give the low down on John or is she going to not say anything.
