At least she isn't very tall or heavy, you think to yourself as you heft her over your shoulder, one arm firmly across the back of her thighs to keep her in place. It isn't the easiest thing in the world to hold her up that way for the entire stroll through the lobby and up the elevator, so by the time you awkwardly unlock the front door, you're more than ready to be relieved of her weight on the living room sofa.

Miki doesn't give much response to her situation, other than a petulant moan and a toss of her head as you pull off her sneakers.
