Carry Tina

"Okay then," Valerie said "Can you point out your things for me?"

"My... things?" Tina asked.

"You know. Your towel, your bags, your outer clothes. Where on the beach did you leave them? I can go grab you something and bring them to you."

Tina blushed. "I... only had the swimsuit."

"Really? That's all you brought?"

"Yeah. You see those houses over there?"

Tina pointed at the sand dunes towards the back of the beach. They were tiny hills of sand which separated the beach from the main road, and they spread down the full length of the beach. Just beyond them Valerie could just see the roof of a house.

"I live in one of the streets back there," Tina continued. "I usually just throw on my swimsuit and walk down to the beach, and I keep my key in a combination lock box just beside the door."

"Well, if you want to trust me with the code-"

"I don't really know it." Tina replied. "I mean... I've been using it so long that I can do it by muscle memory, but honestly I haven't looked at the actual numbers in years."

"Hmm... this is a bit of a puzzle then. I'm not really sure what I can do." Valerie replied.

"What if... no. No, sorry, it's stupid."

"Go on, I'm listening."

"I was, ah, just thinking that maybe... maybe if you gave me a piggy back ride, then that way I'd be covered from the front. People would still see that I'm naked but they don't be able to actually see anything."

"You want me to carry you?" Valerie asked dubiously.

"Well, like I said, it was a stupid idea. We can think of something else."

Valerie idly rubbed at her own bare leg as she considered this. Although Tina would be weightless in the water, once they were out of it Valerie would have to bear her full weight, complicated even worse by the difficulty of walking in the sand. Although she wasn't in bad shape, she didn't think she could carry another person over... what? A couple of hundred feet?

Would her powers of invulnerability help her, however? If the choice was between dropping Tina or injuring herself, then surely it would work in her favour? She bit her lip.

"Okay then."

"What?" Tina asked.

"I'll carry you home."

"Oh, I mean, really, it was just an idea. I don't think we should actually do it."

"I think we should. I'm pretty sure I can manage it, and it's the only way I can think of to get you off this beach when neither of us has access to any sort of covering."

"I mean... if you're sure?"

"Yeah. If you want to do it like a traditional piggy back then that's fine, but it will leave your butt sort of exposed. If we do it face to face then I can cover your butt a little but at the same time it's a little more... ah... intimate with our bits squashing together." And, she added silently, she didn't know if that would count as covering herself up, since her bits would be hidden too.
