Caroline hitchhikes to the airport

"You know what?" Caroline asked sheepishly, handing the phone back to the driver, "how about we just go to the airport instead?" Hopefully there would be clothes for her at the lost and found.

"Oh... okay..." the driver beckoned her in and started driving to the airport, dropping her off at the terminal.

Caroline entered the terminal and rushed to a TSA agent with a sheepish "hi, I'm a bit lost, can you get me something to wear and a ticket for my flight?"

"We only have blankets, ma'am," the agent started leading her backstage, "but I can bring you to your airline's help desk to get this sorted out."

"Thank you," Caroline smiled and blushed. The agent gave her a blanket and escorted her to the help desk, where she was able to get an emergency boarding pass, even being able to get through security.

"It's a good thing you came," the airline representative told Caroline as she was led through the gate, "your flight begins boarding in five minutes."

"Very good, indeed," Caroline agreed just as she heard someone calling her name.

Looking around, Caroline saw her friend - still clutching her clothes and purse - and a police officer entering the airport across the security checkpoints.
