Carl introduces himself

I slide across the leather seat as this big man sits next to me. I quickly cover wrap my dress around my legs to not show anything off that I shouldn't, my guard is up. What is going on.

"Chris what the?" As my eyes dart from him back to this man. I reach for the door handle next to me to exit from my side of the car and am interrupted by him

"My name is Carl." I look at his face and see a warm smile. Not threatening but more relaxed and calming, I smile back briefly and then look back over at Chris and raise an eyebrow in question. Chris says nothing and his expression gives nothing away. The car has still not moved and I now notice the engine isn't running.

"Ok what's the plan here gentlemen? Hello Carl and Chris what the?" again my head spinning from one to the other and settling back on Chris. But it's Carl that answers

"This" and he hands me an envelope "will explain everything" again that smile, and he exits the car. Closing the door behind him, I hear his feet walking around the car, he must be entering the driver's seat, I can not see due to a privacy window, the engine starts, and we start to move away from our home. Chris is now grinning.

"What game is this?" but he doesn't answer, just looks down at the envelope "Suddenly lost your voice have you?" I'm slightly aware that this isn't a usual start to an evening. But the limo is nice and he did say we're going out somewhere. So I shrug and open the envelope. Inside it is a typed letter and 4 postcards, each with a large number on it 1-4.
