Candy isn't a paralegal, is she?
Candy's new job
"I'm a paralegal?"
"Ugh, not even YOU can be this ditzy!" said Ms. VanDrock. "Of COURSE you're a paralegal, and not a very good one, which is why you are getting us coffee!"
Candy furrowed her brow and thought. "Why AM I getting everyone coffee? A good lawyer...or paralegal wouldn't be doing like such jobs."
"Oh, sorry, Mir...I mean Ms VanDrock. What kind of coffee do you like?"
"Seriously, Candy, if you can't even remember THAT, I don't know how much longer you'll be employed here!"
"OH PLEASE give me another chance!" said Candy, "I'll like so be totally better!"
"OK, cream no sugar. Now hop to it!"
Candy thanked her former colleague and left. On her way to the break room, she swayed her hips more and played with a strand of hair. "I'm a paralegal?" she thought. She had vague memories of being a lawyer and having her own office. After she brought Miriam and Bob their coffee, she walked back to her office, but instead of seeing her name on the door, there was a new name "Jerry Kirk," and there was her secretary Eva outside.
"Eva, where's my office?"
"Very funny, Candy," said Eva. "The day YOU get your own office is the day I'm named Ambassador to the United Nations!"
"Um, where's MY desk?"
Eva rolled her eyes. She pointed down the hall.
Candy looked and saw a desk outside the male employee's bathroom. She walked down and saw a short, glass topped table with a computer on it. There were some small troll dolls on the table and a glass with fake pink flowers. There was a name plate that said "Candy McKnocks: Office Gofer."
Candace walked behind the table and sat in the pink chair. It was short. So short her knees stuck up instead of forward. The table was short too. It was like a table one would find in a first grade classroom. She glanced over and looked at the men's room door. "Oh my god," she thought, "like they couldn't have put me in a more like humiliating spot!"
what are some of Candy's new duties?
