Call in sick to work
'Screw it', you thought to yourself.
You didn't really want to loose your sick days at work, but you'd been working damn hard recently, and the fact that you'd just gotten a nice sized bonus would go some way towards helping make up for loosing a few days pay, so you decided to call into the office.
The temptation of having a whole week to do what you wanted, and the house to yourself too, was too much to resist.
