“See ya later, Mom!”

“Bye, Sabrina, have a great day.”

Sabrina races out the door and runs down to the bus stop. She checks her watch. “7:30, I still have five minutes until the bus arrives.” She pulls out her phone and scrolls through Instagram while waiting. Suddenly, a notification pops up on her screen. It’s a DM from Courtney, a girl in a rival group at school. Sabrina’s group and Courtney’s group are constantly feuding; after all, they are the two most popular girls at North Lake High, so rivalry is inevitable. “What could this bitch want...maybe it’s about that shit Rebecca said about her last week...” mutters Sabrina as she opens up the DM. She reads,

Sabrina, you whore. I know you’ve been talking to Grant. Today, me and the girls are getting our ****. We’re gonna teach you a lesson you’ll never forget. Don’t talk to other girl’s boyfriends, you little slut.

“The fuck does she mean?” thinks Sabrina. “I never talked to Grant... I’ve never seen spoken to him!”

“That bitch is crazy...” laughs Sabrina. “Me and my girls are way more popular than her anyway, she’s just jealous and trying to start shit as usual.” She throws her phone back into her backpack. “Courtney wishes she was as hot as me...”

Not too long later, the school bus pulls up. A cloud of exhaust and smoke fills the stop. Sabrina gets up, grabs her bag, and enters. She hands the driver his dollar and begins to look for a seat.

Turning her head, her heart drops! She can’t believe who she sees in the back of the bus!
