Bring him back to the camp

"I already killed my cousin and four other people. I can't have another life on my hands. We'll just have to pray that the others see him for the liar he is."

Will looks relieved, but you can't shake the smile that you see cross Ryan's face. You really hope you made the right choice by being merciful. You and Will bind Ryan's hands and set off toward home. The trip is long, but because you cut your expedition short, you have arrived earlier than your companions expected you. As such, everyone is currently working within the ship when you get there.

You look at Will, and you can tell you are both thinking the same thing. Maybe if you can tell one person the truth before the entire group arrives, you'll have a chance of convincing everyone of your sincerity. Unfortunately, Ryan doesn't give you the chance.

"HELP!"

Like ants from an anthill, your companions pour forth from the wreckage of the Odyssey, guns at the ready.

"What the fuck is going on?! Why is he tied up?" Mike asks. You notice with trepidation that neither he nor Alex have lowered their guns yet. You try to explain.

"He - "

"They brought me out there and then tried to kill me and hide the body! I escaped and ran here but they followed me!"

The group erupts into chaos, and pretty much everyone is talking at once. Things go from bad to worse as Ryan shows them his malfunctioning gun. Despite your best efforts, not a single person in the group seems to believe you. What's worse, some are calling for your head. You hope that cooler heads will prevail, but it appears that today won't be your day, or Will's for that matter. Before you know it, you're on your knees with your hands tied, while Ryan of all people has a gun to your head.

"Any last words, Ben?"

"I'm sorry, Will."

He pulls the trigger, and your world goes dark. At least you didn't have to live long enough to see your best friend executed.
