Brie Larson gets taken down a peg - Part 7

In the police car, wrapped only in a towel, Brie cannot believe what Scarlett and Elizabeth have done to her. After being exposed at the party hall in front of dozens of people and their cameras, she knows that hundreds of pictures of her naked humiliation will be on tomorrow's press, and are already going viral online. She has never been so furious. "Those bitches have ruined my life!", she thinks, while she feels a heavy tear sliding down her cheek.

She quickly remembers everything that has happened. After leaving the party, she was carried naked through the main hall, and had to stand there for a minute, fully naked and with her wrists handcuffed behind her back, while Mike found something for her to wear. All she got was a medium-sized towel, since he was not going to lose his coat by giving it to her. However, at least he agreed to remove her handcuffs, after she promised that she wouldn't try to escape. When the police arrived, she was still wrapped in that scarce white towel, looking ridiculous in her stylish high heel shoes.

The cops have been nice enough to her. They told her that they had to arrest her, but that she can be released tonight, as soon as she pays her bail. She will face charges and will have to explain herself in front of a judge, but at least tonight she will be able to sleep at home. They also told her that they have a box of old clothes at the police station, because it is not uncommon for some detainees to need a change of clothes after vomiting or urinating.

When they arrive at the station, Brie is allowed to make her phone call, while an officer goes find some clothes for her to wear. Brie looks around her and sees that most people in the room, including cops and detainees, are mesmerized by the view of Captain Marvel standing there wearing only a skimpy towel and high heel shoes.

-Hello? Who is this? -says her agent, on the phone.

-Karen, it's me, Brie. I'm sorry to call you so late, but I'm in big trouble. I got arrested. I'm at the police station in Santa Monica. You won't believe what happened to me... it's been horrible...

-I saw it on TV, Brie... What the hell? Did you lose your mind?

-It's not what you think. It was an accident... Scarlett Johansson and Elizabeth Olsen set me up... I will tell you later. I need you to come here and pay my bail. I forgot my purse at the party and I don't have any cards on me. Please, you gotta take me out of here!

-Okay, don't panic. I'll be there soon -says Karen, who sounds tired.

Brie hangs up the phone and sees a female officer standing in front of her, with a pile of clothes in her arms.

-I found these for you, I think they will fit -says the policewoman-. Follow me, please. You can get dressed as soon as we are done with the cavity search.
