Breakfast

You hear your mom yell for you to come down for breakfast. When you come down you see that the only chair left is between your sisters. You sit down and your mom asks if you want eggs and bacon, you say that you would like cereal instead. You space out for a few seconds before your breakfast is put in front of you.

You dig in but as you start to eat your cereal you notice things that are off, like the texture of the milk, the temperature, and most important the taste. Its salty.

Your stepdad, and two sisters finish and excuse themselves then your stepdad goes to work and your sisters go with him to school. You try to excuse your self to get around for school but your mom stops you, saying "i already called in your absence." she asks if you liked your cereal and you answer...
