Chapter 6 by Anonegg Anonegg

What does Jess suggest?

Breakfast

"Wh-what?" I stammered.

"Yeah, you two go grab some breakfast," Jess replied as she rummaged through my wardrobe. "This is going to take me a few minutes."

Jess was smiling slyly at me sideways, and Lucy had a big broad grin on her face. They were clearly waiting for me to break down and cover myself, admit that my boldness had just been a front. If I did that, I wouldn't hear the last of it. My parents were usually out at work by now anyway, so there were just the three of us in the house. They'd already seen everything; there was no use in backing down now.

"Fine." I said, a lot calmer than I currently felt. "You want anything Jess?"

"Um, no." She replied. "Thanks, but I had something before I came over."

I hesitated, running my hands nervously up and down my bare hips. Neither girl made any indication that this was a bad idea, tried to stop me or anything. I gave a sigh, steeled myself and headed out the bedroom door, Lucy following close behind me.

She didn't speak to me the whole time, and to be honest I was kind of relieved. My nerves were so shot that I don't think I could have kept my voice steady. We walked into the kitchen, the tiles cool beneath my feet, as we set about the task of making breakfast. We kept it simple; Lucy placed some bread into the toaster, and I made two bowls of bran cereal. By the time I poured out a glass of OJ the toast was done. We sat down at the kitchen table; me bare, her dressed in her sleepwear.

"What do you think she'll pick for you?" Lucy asked between spoonfuls of cereal.

"Don't know." I replied curtly.

"Are, er, are you enjoying this...?"

"No. You're just acting weird, the pair of you."

"Hmm. Sure. We're the weird ones." Lucy said with a roll of her eyes.

As we were finishing off our food, Jess came down the stairs holding a plastic bag in one hand that looked to be filled with some sort of material. The bag was opaque, however, so I couldn't see what was inside. In her other hand she held a pair of my sneakers. She walked into the kitchen and dropped them onto the floor.

"Put those on." she commanded.

"Where's the rest of my outfit?" I demanded.

"In the bag. BUT! Since walking around in the buff is no big deal for you, I figured you could put them on in the car."

I felt the blood drain from my face. My heart began to quicken.

"You're not serious." I said.

"Sure I am. Unless you want to get dressed now, of course...?"

Does Ashley back down?
