Break the window

With a 'weapon' on hand, Mei turned around and walked toward the window, deeming it the best place to escape from.

One step, two steps, three steps.

The more she neared the small opening, the more she concentrated the energy boiling inside of her, willing it to propagate from around her womb, where it was normally placed, to her whole body and finally channel it through the stone, which now slightly glowed with golden radiance.

With a swift movement her hand cut through the air, and after a fer motions the stone in her hand shattered and became dust. The energy was evidently too much for it, but it was still enough for Mei to cut the hinges of the iron casing.

Smiling Mei slowly removed the iron bars, then carefully slipped through the opening and then put the iron back on, hoping any guard passing by would think the cell was empty from the beginning and not doubt anything.

Jumping out of the window, after some free-falling Mei found herself landing onto a roof overlooking into an empty courtyard, and by looking at the things around, rather than a real prison, this place seemed to be part of the auction establishment where she should have been sold, as well as part of an enormous complex of interconnected buildings and courtyards as far as the eye can see, with almost no real streets and a very tall wall in the far distance, surrounding the town to both protect it from the outside and cage the slaves inside.

Taking in everything of the landscape made it much easier for Mei to plan her course of action, though now she had to decide where she should head from here, to jump down and pass through one of the doors located here into other parts of the building, or to walk on the roofs at least until she's a fair distance from the auction.
