Pete, Hayden, and Sam followed Michael to his car. Michael, as the Frat's Vice President, would accompany the group through the night to make sure that they finished the tasks properly and record them.

The three boys looked over the list with trepidation. Still, they knew the cost of failure or quitting. Jackson was affable and cool, but he had to told that if they lost, the punishment would be dire.

"This will be a long night," Pete said.

"Maybe not. We could divide the ten tasks between the three of us. If one of us fails, the other two might be able to do it later," Hayden said.

Sam took the list and started writing on it. "Let's go by length of time to complete then. Pete, you take this one. Hayden, you try for this. And I'll..."

Michael held up his hand. "Hold it, pledges. I have to be with you when the task is done."

"Shit. I'll guess we'll be around each other. Still, let's do this short task first," Sam suggested.

The other boys nodded as they got to Michael's van.
