Both of their eyes

Fortune favors the bold. At least that's what that fortune cookie said a couple years ago.

"It was both of you," I said, "your eyes are stunning." They both smiled, and crossed their arms. Soon their stunning eyes looked at each other.

"You're a shameless flirt," said Sakura. Neither seemed to believe me at all

"And going for us both. Really? After Sakura was telling me that you weren't a total caveman," said Ino. I really did find their eyes to be stunning, but girls like them weren't impressed by empty statements.

"Cavemen had a lot more practical skills than I do, talking to women amongst them i'd imagine," I said, "but the last thing you should question is that I find you both to be stunning." Sakura and Ino again traded glances. Smiling to each other.

"I believe you," said Sakura. That was a start. Sakura took a deep breath and looked to the ground.

"but you are hitting on me and my best friend. am I supposed to condone it."

"If he is really good," said Ino. Sakura ignored her.

"Maybe I just want some of that praise, all on me," said Sakura. "all the spotlight on me."

"And I'm obviously not your biggest fan," said Ino. "But you are certainly smarter than I realized. Buttering me up so that maybe, one day, you'll be able to experience the perfection.. and tightness that is my pu-."

"INO," cut in Sakura. Ino shook her head.

"But what if he's hun-." Ino's mouth was covered by Sakura's hand.

"Point taken," I said. But I still saw an opening.

"Coffee. I mean, maybe I can see those stunning eyes again tomorrow." Sakura didn't wait a moment before answering.

"like we were talking about," said Sakura, "Coffee. I'll bring...um... myself."

"Yeah," I said. Ino grabbed a hold of Sakura's arm.

"Come," whispered Ino. And like that, Ino dragged Sakura away. I had a lot to do tomorrow. Should I shave? I should shave.
