Booker and Erika tomorrow

"Good morning Booker," said Erika, grinning up at him as he sat beside Devon in the lifeguard chair.

"S'up Erika," he said, glancing at her then returning to surveying the waves.

"I was wondering, the girls want to go on a booze cruise tonight and I was wondering if I should go with them."

"Do whatever you want."

"Would you like to come too?" Erika's heart was beating nervously as she wondered why he was being so distant.

"No, I'll probably go clubbing."

Erika felt sick to her stomach. Had he just used her for sex? Last night had been the most incredible of her life. She wanted to see him again, every night before she left if possible. "How about tomorrow then?"

Erika gasped as Booker looked down angrily at her. "Be right back," he said to Devon. Booker jumped down off the stand and grabbed Erika by the arm hauling her out of ear shot of Devon. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?"

"What do you mean? I thought you liked me."

"You’re embarrassing me in front of my bro. I'm ashamed to even be talking to you."

The damn broke and tears began pouring down Erika's eyes. Booker's eyes didn't soften the least when she started crying. "I t-thought you said I w-was beautiful."

"You are beautiful, that's the problem. No girl with your body should be wearing this piece of shit," he said, poking at her swimsuit. "I wanna show off my woman to my buddies. Don't talk to me again unless you're appropriately attired." She was still crying as he went back to work.
