Chapter 101

What's next?
Bonding
“This is weird,” Rhian said to the tall dark haired woman standing next to her, “I mean, I’ve never had to…”
“Get to know your boyfriend’s other girlfriends?” the woman finished her sentence, “None of us have.”
With Tim’s instructions ringing in their ears, the women had immediately paired off, awkward conversations commencing. People who obviously knew each other, the young girl and her mother, the two lesbians, split up to meet new people. Rhian had ended up with the older of the two lesbians, the tall white woman. She was strikingly beautiful, if a little intimidating. It was obvious to see what Tim saw in the woman, something that tweaked Rhian's own self-doubt.
"Alexis McKay," the woman stuck her hand out in introduction, which Rhian received with a soft handshake, "I think I'm the newest in the group."
"Rhian Morgan," came her reply, "I'm one of Tim's professors."
"Well isn't that a thing," Alexis said with a smirk, "You might want to adjust that story if you're, you know, talking to someone who's not in the family."
"Oh yeah," Rhian nervously laughed, "Sorry."
"Stop," Alexis reached out and touched Rhian on her left elbow, "We're strangers, but we're safe. I promise that your secret it safe with me."
Rhian was taken aback by the warm smile on the woman's face. While she had an air of strength and authority to her, she really came off as kind and caring.
"So you're his professor," the woman continued, "So what? We all came to Tim in our own way. I'm a married woman, for Pete's sake. Married to her!" She pointed across the room to the young black woman who was giggling with the woman with the short blond hair.
"I don't get it," Rhian said, "I could tell that you were together, so why are you with Tim? He's not exactly your, um, type."
"If you had said that before I met him I would have agreed with you, but Tim is..." she trailed off as she considered her feelings, "Tim's different. I can't really explain it, but when I see him, it just feels right to be into him. It's the same for Sarah, my wife. I look at him and I think I'm twice as attracted to him than I am her!"
"But he's a guy!"
"I know," Alexis laughed, "It's weird. I look at him and see a man. Man makeup, man tits, man waist, man clothes, total man. More than a man. A manly man! I've never been into anyone like him before, but I am. I think he's just special, a guy who even gay women would be into."
"He's special alright," Rhian said, "Sometimes I'll be giving a lecture, and he'll be in the front row in one of those tiny skirts he likes to wear. I think he loves it when I lose my place every time he uncrosses those legs of his. Sometimes he doesn't even wear panties!"
The two women laughed, not the uncomfortable laugh of strangers, but of women who were becoming friends, sharing a truth between them. Rhian felt hope slip into her heart. Maybe this would work, maybe Tim would make it work. He had said that he would, and she did trust him, so she decided to start to ignore her self-doubt and lean into the situation.
"But you heard the man," she said, straightening up from her laugh, "Tonight isn't about him. We're supposed to get to know each other, not talk about how wet he makes us. Although, yes, he makes me wet. So. Very. Wet."
Alexis snorted.
"You're right," the tall women agreed, "I'll start. What would you like to know?"
"How about work?"
"I work for the City," Alexis told her, "I'm a senior policy analyst, eight years now."
"Do you like it?"
"For the most part," she said, looking up at the ceiling as she weighed her answer, "Politicians can be a challenge. Some are great, but others are more akin to toddlers, constantly distracted by the new shiny thing. They can create a lot of frustration. But all-in-all I like it. I get to affect change, even small ones, by thinking things through. Who wouldn't like that?"
"It sounds fascinating," Rhian said honestly. She had often wondered what would have happened had she not gone into academia, would she have ended up somewhere like Alexis?
"Fascinating is perhaps too generous an assessment," Alexis said with a sigh, "There's a lot of slogging through numbers and reports, a lot of consulting people with too many strong opinions. When I get home I can be really worn out, but every once and a while you get something done that makes it all worthwhile."
"I know the feeling," Rhian said, "Trying to break through to my students is a challenge. Tim is great, sometimes I even think he's ahead of me in class, but not everyone is like Tim. Some enroll because they think it'll be an easy grade. Some are just there to waste my time, spending their parent's money on tuition, partying all night and not caring about performance. But every once and a while you see someone catch what you're saying. Those days feel great."
"What do you teach?"
"Science Fiction Literature," she said, leaving her self-consciousness behind. For some reason she found it easy to open up to Alexis. She was warm, she was supportive. Alexis made Rhian feel important, heard. It wasn't long before she moved beyond her work at the university. Rhian was speaking of her childhood, of her struggles, of her dreams. Having grown up a single child, Rhian had never had the closeness of a sibling relationship, but perhaps in Alexis she had found a sister.
Of course, as time went on, and the women felt closer, their talk returned to love.
"We only kissed," Rhian said, speaking of her first date with Tim, "but what a kisser."
"Well I've yet to have an actual date with him," Alexis said, blushing, "but Sarah and I took it a bit farther."
"Farther?"
"Way farther."
"And was it..."
"Better than I could have dreamed," Alexis said, her eyes taking on a far off look, "Shit, if all men were like Tim, I'd turn straight!"
"No man is like Tim, I can tell you that," Rhian said, "Trust me. He's one of a kind."
By then Tim's mother had provided glasses and wine, and Rhian was feeling tipsy. She usually didn't let her hair down in social settings, but that night was special. She didn't mind so much that she was giggling too much at innuendo. She didn't care that she was talking a little too loudly when telling stories. Rhian was among sisters. Rhian was safe.
"You have to make him work for it," Rhian said, pointing at Alexis, "I know, it's hard to resist him, but you have to try. If we just keep throwing ourselves at him, he'll get spoiled!"
"Don't you think he's already spoiled?" Alexis snorted, waving her hand toward the beautiful women in the room, "Look at us! We're lined up for him like fangirls."
"I know," Rhian whined, "he's so fucking hot! But don't tell him that, at least not right away. We have to be strong. It'll be better that way. I promise."
"Strong," Alexis, "I can be strong. I'm strong all the time. But around him? I'm not sure..."
"Fine, I'll be strong for both of us," Rhian's words were slurring a bit, "You watch and learn, missy. I'll show you how it's done."
Just then the sound of heels in the hallway caused Rhian to turn. Tim was walking into the room. True to his word, he had changed his clothes. No longer wearing the amazing cocktail dress, Tim had put on a pair of fishnet tights, high heel shoes, a pink satin bodysuit that barely contained his tits and cock, a white collar and bowtie, and a pair of pink bunny ears. Tim had dressed up as a bunny for his girlfriends.
Quickly placing her wine on the coffee table, Rhian felt her arousal peak at the sight of her man showing off his masculinity so brazenly. She lost control.
"Baby!" she squealed, running over to him and wrapping her arms around him, her lips meeting his in a deep kiss. She wanted to lose herself in his lips, the taste of his lipstick on her tongue, his breasts pressing against her own. The room spun, her adrenaline peaked. Who cares who was watching? She was with her man, she was among sisters!
"Strong my ass," she heard from behind her in the amused voice of her newfound sibling, the girlfriend of her boyfriend. She didn't care. The love she felt for Tim was an incurable disease, and she wanted no treatment but for his affection. And Tim was a great physician.
