Bodily fluids

Tariq looked at Jake for a while before answering.

"I would say that your sacrifices would be some kind of bodily fluid", he said.

Jake breathed a sigh of relief.

"I was worried it would be something bad", he said.

"Don't get too cocky", Tariq chided. "Many have not survived this challenge, no matter how hard they try."

Jake gulped. He didn't like the idea of failing, especially when he only had to give up something so superficial.

"Okay", Jake finally said, regaining control of himself. "What do I have to do? What bodily fluid do I have to give?"

Tariq grinned, showing off his pointed teeth. Jake slowly backed away as Tariq took a step forward.

"So, what's my sacrifice?" Jake asked again, his voice quivering from nervousness.

"Let me show you", Tariq offered.

He pounced. Jake stumbled back, and fell onto the bed. Tariq jumped onto the bed on top of him.
