Black's Queen's Bishop, the white-square priestess, stepped out. Her skin was dark, but her hair, unlike her fallen black-square sister's gray, was icy white. Her robes swept the ground to left and right, but were bare front and rear for instant action, showing that her bush was as white as her head. She hissed in the direction of the remaining White Knight, whom she surveyed down a diagonal. And one square away -- one white square -- was the White King, who had just despoiled her Queen.

Black's pawns whooped their approval, the ill-clad female soldiers cheering the powerful piece as she moved into action.
