Chapter 4
by cloudengz
End of Class, what now?
Binx is stopped.
As Dr. Davis handed her the textbook, his fingers brushed against hers, sending a spark of electricity through her body. Bianca felt a flush rise to her cheeks as she took the book from him, her eyes meeting his for a brief moment. She glanced over at Robert, who was watching the exchange with a curious expression.
"Thanks," Bianca murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
Dr. Davis smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You're welcome," he replied, his voice low and smooth. "I think we're done here for today, Robert," he said, turning to Bianca's boyfriend. "Why don't you head out?
Robert's eyes flickered to Bianca, a hint of protest forming on his lips. "But I was going to -" he began, his voice trailing off as Bianca's hand brushed against his arm.
"It's okay, I'll meet you for lunch," Bianca said, her voice soft and reassuring. She smiled up at Robert, her eyes sparkling with a warmth that seemed to ease his concerns.
Robert's gaze lingered on Bianca's face for a moment, before he nodded and slung his backpack over his shoulder. "Alright, I'll see you then," he said, his voice a little softer now.
As Robert's footsteps faded into the distance, the classroom grew quieter, the only sound the soft murmur of the remaining students gathering their belongings. Dr. Davis' eyes never left Bianca's face, his gaze holding a hint of intensity that made her skin prickle with awareness. The air seemed to vibrate with tension, the silence between them palpable.
Bianca felt a shiver run down her spine as Dr. Davis took a step closer, his eyes locked onto hers. The movement was subtle, but it seemed to shrink the distance between them, making her feel like she was the only person in the room.
The last student's footsteps faded into the distance, leaving an unsettling silence in their wake. The only sound was the soft hum of the fluorescent lights overhead, casting an eerie glow over the empty classroom. Bianca felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized she was alone with Dr. Davis.
Dr. Davis' eyes never left hers, his gaze piercing and intense. He took another step closer, his movements deliberate and slow. The air seemed to thicken, heavy with anticipation, as he stopped in front of her. Bianca's heart was racing, her pulse pounding in her ears.
The silence between them was oppressive, weighing heavily on Bianca's shoulders.
Bianca's voice broke the silence, "I'm so sorry, Dr. Davis, for being late to class earlier." She looked up at him, her eyes wide and apologetic. "I didn't mean to disturb the lesson."
Dr. Davis' gaze softened, his eyes warm and understanding. "It's alright, Bianca. I know you have a lot on your plate, your first few weeks are always tough with the adjustment." He took a step closer to her, his movements slow and deliberate. "I hope you're not feeling too overwhelmed?"
As Bianca sat down on the edge of the desk, her sundress rode up, exposing more of her thighs. The fabric bunched up around her hips, drawing Dr. Davis' gaze to the smooth expanse of skin. His eyes lingered for a moment, before he looked away, his expression neutral. But Bianca caught the flicker of interest in his eyes, and her heart skipped a beat.
