Bile Mushroom (WIP-No way back)

Nora headed into the tunnel marked by the green colored mushroom hieroglyph. {if N = 3}Going by what was written in Nicolaj's journal, Nicolaj and his companion headed down this tunnel, and as far as she knew, never returned. The thought sent a shiver down Nora's spine, but it was not the time for second thoughts.{endif} The tunnel stank musty and heavy, as if the dust was exceptionally excessive in these parts of the ruins.

After some walking Nora came upon a vertical split in the tunnel; the tunnel continued down a ledge, as well as a tunnel above that was out of her reach. Lying just at the edge, just barely visible if she stood on her toes, were bones. They were dark and covered with some kind of grayish moss, which made Nora extra surprised she even noticed it. Perhaps it was the shiny metal bar with a string that hung off a stalag... uh...

"Stalactite, because it hangs to the ceiling tight," Nora suddenly said to herself, remembering the proper terminology, "stalagmite cause I might trip on it." Nora grinned to nobody in the darkness, before realising that there was no-one there... as far as she knew. She didn't have enough rope to make a lasso, which was a shame as she had thoroughly enjoyed using one in equally perilous situations, so her best bet was that, hopefully, the bottom tunnel somehow connected to the top one. If not, she realised, she would be trapped down there, possibly for good.

...But with no other way forward, Nora jumped down with her flashlight in hand and began her exploration.
