Better

Naruto remembered Isabiri well. She was another victim of Orochimaru. One of his scientists had turned her into a part-amphibic, part-human being with scales covering her arm and leg. When he encountered her during a mission along with Anko, Ino and Shino, she was a puppet, being manipulated in hopes of being cured of her condition by the same scientist who made her this way. Fortunately, Naruto could show her the errors of her way and they returned to Konoha with Isabiri, in hopes of Tsunade being able to cure her.

Although the Hokage admitted that it was a hard work, she had promised to do what she could. What followed were years of experimentation. Tsunade couldn't and wouldn't put Isabiri through endless tests and Naruto visited her often, and there was only a gradual easing of her suffering. But now... Naruto could hardly believe that she was going to be rid of this curse and he was increasing his pace. He couldn't wait to see her now.

Naruto reached the medical facility, and the nurse nodded as she saw how earnestly concerned he was for Isabiri. He was led to a room where Isabiri was restingHer body was still partly covered in bandages, more specifically in the places where her scales had been, on her arm, her leg and on parts of her face. She was still asleep, but as Naruto walked next to the bed, she stirred.

Her eyes fluttered open, and the first thing she saw was Naruto. "Naruto... I'm happy you're here. How... How do I look?", she asked, afraid of whether or not the operation had suceeded.

Naruto smiled at her. "I don't know. You're still hidden under bandages. Here, take this, it should finish the process, at least that's what Sakura-chan said.", he said, handing her the package.

Isabiri sat up in the bed. She took the bag and produced a small vial with a greenish liquid out of it. She stared at it intently, then at Naruto. She then opened her mouth a few times, but then closed it. It seemed as if she did not have the courage to ask. But finally, she spoke up. "Naruto... if this medicine works...", she said shyly, but then paused.

"Huh?", Naruto asked, unsure what she was going to say, but anxious to hear it.

Isabiri flushed deep red, but decided to ask nevertheless. "If it works, and I'm normal again, will you promise me to marry me, too?", she blurted out.

Naruto wasn't really too surprised that she knew by now. And yes, he was really fond of her, after all, they had both started out as monsters, until Naruto found his friends and she.... well, was found by him. "Yes... yes, I will, Isabiri-chan.", he agreed.

Isabiri nodded. "Turn around please, Naruto.", she asked, and Naruto did as he was told. As he looked at the wall, he heard the rustling of the bedsheet, the gulping sound of Isabiri emptying the vial and something very light hitting the floor. Then he heard her voice again. "Please, look at me, Naruto.", she said to him.

As Naruto turned around, his mouth hung open as he saw Isabiri standing in front of him, completely naked and perfectly normal. He could now see very well that her entire body was devoid of all the scales that once set her apart and caused her suffering. She was overjoyed at this, apparently. "Thank you, Naruto. It's all thanks to you that I look like this now.", she said enthusiastically as she threw herself into Narutos arms.

Feeling her supple breasts press into his chest made Naruto nearly lose his balance and reasoning, but he regained both. "Now now, Sakura-chan and Tsunade-obaa-chan have helped you more than I did...", he reasoned.

"I know, but... you did so much for me. Naruto... I want to make you as happy as I am now.", she pleaded and before Naruto could react, Isabiri had leaned in and pressed her lips against his. Naruto allowed it to happen and reciprocated the kiss and her love for him. After all, how could he not like her? She was no longer the monster she claimed to be, but now a stunning young lady, and one that he could reflect on so much... he felt as if it nearly was his responsibility to keep on looking after her, a duty that he gladly obliged to.

But he had to think of her health, too. After they had stopped kissing, Naruto looked at Isabiri. She was still a bit weak from the operation. "Rest up a bit first, Isabiri. You're still not ready for this.", he said warmly, and even though Isabiri wanted to object, she was shushed by another kiss and made to comply. Naruto picked her up and carried her bridal-style over to her bed.

They shared a brief parting kiss before Naruto left her to rest some more. "I look forward to be your wife, Naruto.", she called after him as she left, and he responded in kind. "I can't wait for you to be my wfe, too.", he said with a smile and closed the door.

As he was about to exit the clinic, he was approached by the nurse that showed him Isabiris room. "I got a call from Hokage-sama for you, Naruto. She says that you and your wives all have a table reserved in the Mai-hime restaurant for 7 pm", she told him.

Naruto was a bit surprised. But it was a good idea, after all, this way he could introduce them all to each other, and hopefully, there would be no tension between them... after all, it seemed as if even Ino and Sakura wouldn't be fighting each other over him. "Alright, thank you.", he told her and left the building.
