Maria follows you into the kitchen, where Jane is preparing some eggs and bacon. "Maria, do you have any allergies?" asks Jane without looking up.

"I am allergic to you," replies Maria, "but nothing else."

"So, how about your job," you interrupt the arguing of the two girls, "you still work in your Grandpa's office, right?"

"That's right, I'm a secretary. He seems to think I'm really good at my job," answers Maria, "and a friend of mine works there too. Sometimes we get coffee together."

"You have friends?" whispers Jane, so quietly that only you can hear her. You shoot her a look of warning and silence her.

"Sounds great," you say, "as long as you like your job, everything is fine."

"You're right, that's pretty important." agrees Maria. "Well… what about your job, Jane?"

"I am sure you know I do not have a job," Jane answers, grumbling.

"Oh yes, I forgot," says Maria arrogantly, "nobody wants you."

"Well being the prisoner of a pervert is not good for the curriculum vitae." mumbles Jane while she serves some buns and coffee.

"Yeah, that makes sense," agrees Maria, "but I am not here to to talk about your past." with that she leans even closer to you and gently places her left hand on your leg.

"I had some ideas for your birthday and talked to some of your friends," Maria explains to you, as she tickles your cheek with her right hand, "I think a nice boy like you deserves something special. So we planned something we know you would love."
