Better then Becky's

Your landlord knocks on your door earlier then expected. She seems thrilled about the date. ''Come on Mike, don't make a girl wait.''

Quickly you take your coat as Anna impatiently waits on you. With how eager she seems you slowly start to doubt Anna's true intentions for the date. Your landlord takes your arm and drags you with her. Anna's grip is very tight. Somehow you forgot how strong she is. It's absurd really.

''So where are we going?'' You ask trying to make conversation with her.

''Well there's this really nice restaurant not far from here. I was thinking we could have a bite there.'' Anna replies.

''Sounds good to me.'' You agree. It's not like you have any say in the matter anyway. With the **** of Anna's grip you're getting dragged with her like it or not.

It doesn't take long before you arrive at the restaurant. it's a very fancy place and it has to be very expensive. Anna has reserved a table for two. The waiter brings the two of you to your seats and leaves after handing you the menu. Every dish is really expensive. You probably need to clean Angela's room at least a month before you could even pay for the least expensive thing on the menu. A bit nervous by the prices you decide to order the least expensive things you can find. In the meantime Anna orders almost everything on the menu. All you can do is stare at her with huge eyes.

She chuckles and says: ''A healthy girl has got to eat.'' You take a good look at her and can't help but wonder where she'd leave all of her meal. ''I work out a lot.'' Anna says answering your thoughts. ''I train every day for hours. It keeps me fit. You know, you could do with some exercise yourself.'' Anna examins your body. ''There's barely any meat on those bones.''

''Well I've always been a rather skinny guy... Never been much of an athletic type.'' You answer.

''Mike there's no such thing as a athletic type. Everyone can do it. You just need some kind of motivation. Why don't you work out with me sometime. I'm sure you'd like it.''

You politely accept her offer eventhough you don't really want to. However you feel bad for not being able to pay the rent on your first month. So you figure this is the least you can do for your landlord.

The waiter comes back with your dishes and a second table for all of Anna's dishes. Afterwards you and Anna talk about your first week of college. You really have a fun time with her. Anna seems to be amused with the conversation as well. Eventually Anna brings up the rent.

''Look Mike, you're a really sweet guy but I can't have you slack off on your payments. How are you on the job department?''

You tell Anna how you managed to get a job as one of her tenants cleaner.

''Oh so you're Angela's maid. I could have seen that one coming.''

''I'm not a maid! I just clean her room. And by the way what do you mean by that?'' You say defensively.

''Oh my apologies, I just misunderstood. I thought you had to do more then just clean her room. It's nothing.''

''What do you mean more?'' You press on.

But as Anna wants to answer your question the waiter returns with the paycheck. Anna hands it to you. ''There you go Mike, this one is on you.''

''Wait, wait!'' You mutter as Anna stands up and decides to leave. ''I can't pay for any of this!''

Anna smiles and says ''You should have thought of that when you didn't pay the rest of your rent''. With that Anna leaves you behind in the restaurant.

Knowing you can't pay for any of this you decide to sneak out. Just as you want to walk out you can hear the waiter talking to you. You make a run for it. The waiter nearly catches you but you manage to escape. When you finally arrive back home Becky is moping on the couch.

''I hope you had a fun time, Mike. I sure as hell didn't.'' Becky complains.

''Anna just left me on my own with a huge bill and no money to pay for it.''

''Ha! Serves you right.'' Becky teases. She's obviously in a bad mood but she's still in for a bit of teasing.

''I can only imagine what you've been through with Raven. Did she uhh-'' You're not sure whether to ask her about the details or not.

''Look I told you Raven was bad news didn't I? She hated that you didn't show up as agreed upon. But I managed to get it done. She was a real pain in the ass though! Honestly stay away from her.''

''Did she hurt you?'' You ask concerned.

''Yes... She really fucked me ha- I mean she really fucked me up. I can barely walk.'' Becky says with red cheeks.

''I'm sorry Becky.'' You apologize. ''How can I make it up to you?''

''Well I did say you owe me a favor now, didn't I? I'll hold on to it for now. Anyway, I'm off to bed. I need some rest after all of this. Besides tomorrow is a schoolday.'' Becky stands up and stumbles to her room. Poor thing, you think. Raven really did a number on her. You feel guilty for what happened. Raven hurt Becky and it's all on you. What Anna did doesn't bother you anymore. Becky had it way worse. At least you got away with things. Heck you even had a free meal. Beats getting beaten up by that goth girl bitch.

You go to sleep early that night. Becky is right. Tomorrow is a schoolday, I have to make sure I'm on time. I need to obey miss Monica. I want to obey her every command. Huh? What's that you think to yourself. You swear you heard something. Playing it off as just you being sleepy you go to bed and close your eyes.
